Commonwealth Projects has been busy working on the production of REBEL for James Franco and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibition includes incredibly talented artists that we admire and are thrilled to be able to work with. We’ve been involved with the project since its very beginning so we’re more than excited to see it come together in such an outstanding way. The show is located at the JF Chen space in Hollywood. The artists included in the show are James Franco, Douglas Gordon, Harmony Korine, Damon McCarthy, Paul McCarthy, Terry Richardson, Ed Ruscha, and Aaron Young. We hope to see you all at the opening!

One of our recent productions, Transmission LA at MOCA, curated by Mike D of the Beastie Boys closed this weekend- check out the main page to see the documentation of the Ben Jones video installation we put together. Commonwealth was deeply saddened to here of the passing of Adam Yauch during the final days of the exhibition. The sound of the Beastie Boys isn’t a stranger to the CWP office so thanks for sharing, MCA . Rest in peace!

Zine and posters. Type and image. Hedi Slimane’s new exhibition California Song was the catalyst to our approach, and working with Hedi on the design of these two printed materials was a refreshing marriage. You can still catch the show until January 22nd at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. Many more projects with our good friend Hedi to come in the future!
